What Student Growth Space is, who it's for, and how to begin.
A platform that teaches you what they don't in school — how to land top opportunities. We combine four things: • Daily Protocol: 3 tasks per day that build real skills (networking, applications, interview prep) • Opportunities Directory: a growing, searchable catalogue of programmes (spring weeks, summer schools, access schemes, apprenticeships) • Applications Tracker: keep every opportunity you apply to in one place, with statuses like Applied, Interviewing, Offer or Rejected • Guides Library: short, practical articles on applications, finance and careers Think of it as your unfair advantage — the playbook successful students follow, now available to everyone.
Year 11, 12 and 13 students (late secondary and sixth form) who want to access opportunities like spring weeks, summer schools, internships and access schemes but don't know where to start. If you're ambitious but feel like you're figuring it out alone, this is for you.
Yes, 100% free. No hidden costs, no credit card required, no "free trial" that turns into a paid subscription. The core platform — opportunities directory, Daily Protocol, applications tracker, guides, countdown and calculator — is free to use.
Three simple steps: 1. Sign up with your email 2. Browse opportunities and bookmark the ones you're interested in 3. Start today's Daily Protocol (3 tasks that take 15–30 mins total) Come back tomorrow for 3 new tasks. Build your streak. Track your applications. Make progress every day.
Each day's 3 tasks typically take 15–30 minutes total, depending on the task. Some are quick (5 mins to update your LinkedIn headline). Some take longer (20 mins to draft an application answer). The idea isn't to spend hours — it's to make consistent progress every day. 15 minutes daily > 2 hours once a month.
The Daily Protocol, features, and how everything fits together.
The Daily Protocol is your daily training plan for landing opportunities. Every day = 3 new tasks: → Monday: Networking (connect with someone on LinkedIn, read company culture) → Tuesday: Applications (practice assessments, draft answers) → Wednesday: Skills (learn Excel, watch analyst interviews) → And so on throughout the week You submit proof for each task (screenshot, text, link), maintain your streak, and build real progress — not just check boxes. Think Duolingo for your career: daily tasks, streak tracking, actual skill-building. It's what sets us apart from other opportunity sites. This isn't just a directory — it's daily accountability.
The Daily Protocol is your main focus — 3 new tasks every day that rotate throughout the week (Monday tasks ≠ Tuesday tasks). You submit proof, build streaks, and develop real skills. The milestone checklist is optional — foundational tasks you can complete at your own pace (set up LinkedIn, build CV, etc.). They're good one-time setup tasks, but the Daily Protocol is where the magic happens. Focus on completing today's 3 Daily Protocol tasks. The milestone checklist is there if you want it, but it's secondary.
Your login streak continues as long as you visit the site (even if you don't complete tasks). Your protocol streak breaks if you don't complete all 3 tasks before midnight. It's okay to miss days — life happens. The point isn't perfection, it's consistency. Jump back in tomorrow and start rebuilding your streak.
Everything from social mobility programmes (Sutton Trust, Social Mobility Foundation) to spring weeks (Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan), summer schools (Oxford UNIQ, Cambridge HE+), work experience placements, apprenticeships, and university access schemes. If it helps you get ahead, we try to list it.
You can filter by year group, category, application status (open, closing soon, closed), and more. When you're logged in, you also get two extra sort options: • New this week first — any programmes added in the last 7 days jump to the top. • Most popular — programmes that are getting the most interest from other students right now. Your sort choice is remembered the next time you visit.
On any opportunity page you can tap "Add to my applications" when you've applied (or "Register interest" if applications aren't open yet). It then shows up on your dashboard where you can set its status — Applied, Interviewing, Offer, Rejected or Withdrawn. If you change your mind or added one by accident, open the opportunity again and use "Remove from my applications" to take it off your tracker. You can re-add it any time.
We review and update programme details regularly, especially around application season. Deadlines change though, so always double-check the official website before applying.
No — we can't guarantee acceptance. But we can guarantee you'll know about more opportunities and be better prepared than if you were figuring it out alone.
Yes, anyone can browse the directory. But accounts and protocol tracking are designed for students to use personally.
How your data is handled and how to manage your account.
Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, stored in the EU with Supabase (GDPR compliant), and only you can see your bookmarks, applications and Daily Protocol progress. We will never sell your personal information to third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Yes, anytime. Go to Settings → Delete Account and your personal data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. No questions asked.
Only the minimum we need to run the site. We use essential cookies for login and security, and aggregate analytics (Vercel Analytics, Speed Insights and Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation) so we can see which features are useful and which pages are slow. We don't use advertising trackers and we don't show ads.
Right now, we don't. We may introduce optional paid features in the future, but the core platform — opportunities directory, Daily Protocol, applications tracker, guides, countdown and calculator — will stay free. We don't run ads, and organisations can't pay to appear in the directory or rank higher. That's non-negotiable.
Who built Student Growth Space and how to get in touch.
Ayo Adesida, a university student who's had experiences at Goldman Sachs, KPMG, FCA, and Rokos Capital Management. I built this because I remember how confusing it was trying to find these opportunities — and I want to make it easier for students like me.
Email hello@studentgrowthspace.com with details (what page, what you expected, what happened) and we'll fix it as soon as possible. There's also a feedback button on the site you can use without leaving the page.
Yes, please do! Email hello@studentgrowthspace.com with the programme name and a link. We review all suggestions and add them if they're relevant for UK students.
No, we're an independent directory. We don't run these programmes — we just help you find them. Always check the official programme website for the most up-to-date deadlines and requirements.
